20 February, 2007 at 4:10 pm #261074I like their point 10.
“The best way to stop banks ripping you off is not to allow them to issue you with penalty charges. Don’t miss payments, don’t go into unauthorised overdraft territory and don’t go for banks you know mistreat people.”
Translated with all the emotive language taken out:
Don’t issue cheques that you know will bounce.
Don’t go into an unauthorised ovedraft.
Don’t spend money that you haven’t got – especially other people’s.If you keep to the rules that you agreed to when the acount was opened, then you won’t get charged for breaking them. Simple really !!!
