First of all, he makes Terry captain instead of Gerrard (the real team leader), then sacks Beckham for nothing! I admit beckham is nothin special, however, at least keep him available ffs! Get the guy a break. Some hard decisions had to be made. The underachieving pathetic World Cup Squad had to be broken up.
brave decisions in my eyes. beckham (who is my neighbour btw!) carries too much euphoria and is at his stage in his career over-rated. take him out the equasion and let the football and not the expectation do the talking.
it will give the real footie players who have had to graft for their places a real chance to shine.

i love football and i love good football. i will watch any match and enjoy it or not as the case may be. i follow various teams through all the leagues (have a secret passion for gretna, millwall, qpr, st johnstone (super j’s) leyton orient…. the list goes on!! oh… and scotland of course but they seem to opt out of major tournaments for some unknown reason!!!
my scotish team is rangers (have to honour my family with somethink lol!!!) :wink:
