It might be difficult to uninstall so try this:
> Start
> Run
Type msconfig
> OK
> Startup
See if it’s in there, if it is uncheck it.
When you restart your pc you’ll get a messege about using selective startup.
Tick ‘Don’t show this again’ and you should be sorted. :wink:But if you dont know what it is, or what it,s function in life is, how do you know it,s not important? I think I,ll do what I normally do…err on the side of caution for now and leave it, until someone tells me in ENGLISH what the poxy thing does. Well of course it,s important! You dont know what it,s function in life is, for all you know it could be something else making my screen freeze. I,m not deleting anything without knowing what its for. I havnt had a screen freeze yet today. Does anyone else know what an AWT toolkit is? All answers in English plz, I dont understand punjabi. :wink: :wink:
Its to help construct java applets ect for websites bat, i dont think you will be using it unless your planning on taking up java window programing, but it shouldnt do your computer any harm either by leaving it where it is.
AWT Toolkit (Abstract Window Types) is used to build stand alone applications Bat – it’s not something you need on your pc
If the screen freezes the best way to clear it is a couple of squirts of WDC – there shoud be a small hole in the RHS of your monitor labelled “WDC Squirthole”

Well thanks for telling me what it stands for Drivel, now the all important question is, how did it get here in the first place? I,ve never downloaded it, I,d never even erd of it, so where did it come from? I bet it was Chess :shock: :shock: (I blame her for everything). :wink: A couple of squirts of WDC indeed, pfffttt. Sorry Ruby hun I wasnt ignoring you lol. I do have spyware doctor which runs frequently and I do defrag etc. Thank you for that “advice” you gave me in 40,s last nite Drivel lol.
