Immediate challenge i find here is that many people live in town centers….how do they get home or get to their home?Sticker in window? sign on roof? who enforces all this? I noticed yesterday that even an ambulance had to wait in traffic to get to the hospital….you can blare the sirens all you want….

    Misterq,

Growth of Town and Cities, sadly, more development are those contributing factors which increase traffic in Towns, Cities.

We do not have bikes used as much perhaps as you have, but use for pleasure rather than work. Trains, well we have to travel to reach them and then park our vehicles for the day costing much to store and park for day…as well as train fares… Cab services limited where I live. Bus is another major source of transportation when one has no car.

Sad the mention of those not yielding to emergency vehicles as those are potential saviors for ones life or home. However, here if sirens sound, no one moves to side of road, you are given a very big fine/ticket..

Hey linda….great to see you yeah…probably the same over here…what i meant though was that the traffic is so grid-locked that ambulances can’t even get through. You can beep the siren as long as you want but if there’s no where for the traffic to go…the ambulance stays where it is. I mean…cause a pile up and possible deaths to help an ambulance get to the hospital faster? Always good to see you friend.
