did you know that slugs have a perculiar little extremity called the ‘love dart’ which, despite being potentially deadly to the recipient, stabs the slug during copulation and secretes a chemical which increases the likelihood of eggs being fertalised (please don’t ask how I find this stuff out)

Has anyone seen slugs that have been assalted ?
Crawled into kitchen this morning (still ill) and my lovely daughter had poured half a pound of salt over three slugs near the cats bowl

I loved those slugs
hopefully the ‘love dart’ has been used and they will continue to come forth
considering that they’re hermaphrodites, you’ll soon have more of the squelchy pillagers knocking on your door again
