Apparently the nasty smell is mercaptan which is added to natural gas to make it more detectable so I guess that works, but it contains sulphur making it smell of rotten eggs.

I suppose the only positive is that it is affecting Paris.

Weather wise we had snow last week but it has rained since and everywhere is like the annual Glastonbury festival.

I don’t know about nauseous but it is foul, can smell it in the house too.

Smells sweet in Kent too :lol:
