Trying to figure out where to relocate in the wake of this sick election and everything else going on in the U.S. right now…
Any honest advice would be greatly appreciated…
Thank You

I would have to apply for a U.S. Passport to go abroad. I won’t be able to make a move until next summer. I teach autistic students at a high school in Philadelphia and even if things get crazy with the election, I’ll have to stick it out until the end of the school year.
I’m just trying to get a feel for how welcoming/unwelcoming different parts of the world are to Americans. I know that Europe has had a great number of immigrants from Syria and parts of Africa over the past few years, so I’m also wondering if there are places that are just too inundated with refugees/immigrants at this point.
Thanks Again,
DW

forget applying/considering citizenship for different countries. Being an expat is the best thing i have done (almost 10 years for me now). I am currently in the Middle East now and there are lots of opportunities for teachers (especially with specialism like autism). Remember that you will still have to file IRS as your income is still taxable outside the US – there are ways around that too ;)
You may have to get a TEFL course (easy to do :) )
I would recommend you to look at Middle East or Asia (Thailand, Japan, Singapore).
