Every time I start up a box appears with RUNDLL in top left corner. Says loading error blah blah blah There’s a Red circle with white cross on top left corner can click ok to get rid of it and this only occured after I downloaded spybot and then deleted spybot after the cleanator thingy! But can I get rid of it altogether. I ran a file search and thought I had deleted it but it keeps coming back1 Any help would be appreciated.

i’m not that techie, but spybot is a great program and i’m not sure why you deleted it after one use. it’s one of those programs thats sits happily in the background doing good like avg. rundll thingies are tricky things and beyond my ken. however , i use a use a usefull little program every couple of days called ccleaner. its free and small and is good at getting rid of little niggles.google it and give it a try.

AVG doesnt sit in the background quietly doing its stuff. Its in your face from the minute you turn the computer on.

i’m a big fan of avg. apart from the odd update and a scan on bootup i dont notice it, and using it for scanning disks and my pen drive if ive imported stuff.i think its great. my comps. ussually clean as a whistle and thats down to avg, ccleaner, spybot and the occassional online checkup…..norton on the other hand…where do i start? what a load of shite. wants to take over your comp.

lol . i can’t beleive the word s.h.i.t. became hot choclate. this is an adult site for adults isnt it? :-# :!: :-# ](*,) 8-[

(Try using the word “nonsense” or “rubbish” to convey your meaning fully – being an adult site, our members will understand you ….. Ed)

Fair enough ed, though if i had felt “nonsense” or “rubbish” fully conveyed my meaning, i would have used them. I’m not advocating gratuitous and excessive swearing and a cussing, but it is part of our rich language and does have it’s place, and when everyone can just use misspellings such as fook and sh it, it makes the rules seem a little redundant.
but hey, rules is rules, and i’m an obedient and law abiding citizen, so heres to hot chocolate and warm ovaltine.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding Marmaduke.

Just to clarify things a bit for you. A while ago we went through a phase where some of our less adult members felt it necessary to insert numerous (and some might say unnecessary) expletives into their text, in the mistaken belief that this somehow enhanced the meaning that they were trying to convey.

Our response was to apply a sense of humour to the situation, by altering said expletives, using the message board software, rather than by taking a more robust and prescriptive line.

Of course it is entirely possible to use an expletive in a post, as you have so ably demonstrated, but this requires a concious act on the part of the poster, which we hope will reduce the general use of such expletives and thereby add intellectual value to the various posts made and read by our users.

Yes I know that it’s a shitty trick to alter expletives …. but we don’t fucking care.

    absolutely fookin class.

and don’t try using a naughty cuss word in any poetry you might care to post. I’ve been there and wondered why, initially, I had included a late night sedating bedtime drink.

the JC set-up managed to turn it all to shyte lol.
