We are all bothered by ”spyware” from time to time and lots of us use anti-spyware programmes for blocking it or removing it. Its just one of those hazards of using the internet that we have come to accept.

Problem is that most internet users don’t actually know what it is, or are unaware of the current trends / threats. I have been receiving a weekly news letter by e-mail for quite a while now which is really helpful. It is called ”Syware Weekly” and it is written by an American guy called James Healan, who is a really knowleadgeable campaigner against spyware / malware.

Each week he goes into detail about the current issues concerning spyware / malware and offers a great insight into what various companies are up to. Its very interesting and informative and offers loads of good advice and practical tips to help keep your internet experience a happy one. Whilst it is obviously pointed at the American market, it also offers good advice for UK readers so don’t be put of by its American style.

The weekly newsletter is absolutely free – although you can make a donation to support running costs if that is your wish – and is sent to your e-mail address usually on a Friday.

If any Board users are interested in subscribing then follow this link:

I would be most interested to hear if any Board users have read it and what their opinions are.

I would always advice a format for people with spyware probs. Its one of the easiest things you’ll ever do. It gets rid of every single bit of spyware.

Got an excellent anti-spyware on my PC and antivirus. And a mean firewall. Also got a good registry checker mechanic.

    Automatic updates on all.

Keeps all the sharks away :)

    Back
    format(greyed out)
    save background as(greyed out)
    set as(greyed out)
    set as desktop item(greyed out)
    select all
    paste
    (greyed out)
    create shorcut
    add to faves
    view sources
    encoding
    print
    refresh
    properties.

Okay here is an excellent antispyware to download for free.
I`ve been using this for a long time and find it very good.

also make sure that you have a good `antivirus` and check for updates weekly or if it has automatic update, switch it on.

This is better than ad-aware. Its found loads of things ad-aware didnt find just a few hours ago, even a trojan horse.

    CHEERS DROPPED-ANCHOR.

P.S. why is there no stars in the background of your space picture?
