I think this an extraordinary situation…we all know it is………….but why is my question, maybe that is so not extraordinary …………maybe the environment the people grow up in, that exudes the behaviour is telling us something…I hope we can listen.
22 February, 2008 at 6:08 pm #313363Bridgend is a dump. Like one big housing estate. Nothing to do for the youngsters that I could see, and high unemployment. No prospects etc. Perhaps they should look at other similar areas and see what the suicide rates are for them.

Yes, they should. And then we will see if its exceptional or not.

15 suicides (in the age group concerned) per 100,000 is the national “average”
17 suicides in Bridgend in 12 months and 120,000 people live in the Bridgend area
Not exceptional, not extraordinary, just very tragic, as is any other suicide

vast majority of jocks in jc are welfare scroungers. the only boot you lot look in is the car your robbing
