    Of course you are entitled Soulie – thats why its called an opinon and not personal experience…..

    I still blame the parents in most cases- but I am referring to kids like the one on the programme. THAT was bad parenting.

    ADHD, behavioural probs etc are a completely different thing altogether – of course that can’t be the parent’s fault….although I still believe that some kids are misdiagnosed as ADHD when really they are just misbehaved.

    And of course – all kids go through phases…it’s natural – sometimes they are as good as gold, other times they are testing their boundaries…and heir parent’s patience lol :wink: :D

    many of the children that I work with are diagnosed with ADHD when really its the abuse and trauma that they have suffered that causes their behaviour to be as it is….

    I think this is the point that SF was trying to make :)

    Personal attacks at others will place blinkers on the eyes of the people you’re trying to debate with. Both dawny and volksie are strong minded women with views of their own….like I said earlier, its good to stay objective and keep personal digs out of it :)
