it does shock me when you see people get to that size! and no it wasnt a medical condition apart from greed!
if it where a medical condition then it would of been treated by now! or in the process of being treated, this person stayed at home and ate and ate and ate simple as that
i dont think he is ugly, or hideous i feel sorry for him to be honest.

Harsh isnt it? What sort of help could he get though? He cant excercise it would kill him and a diet wouldnt work because his body would starve. Its a sad shame.

There is help he can get though – ther is one place I was reading about in a magazine – Andover Village, which is a clinic for the morbidly obese. Apparently it is specially designed…reinforced beds, extra large wheelchairs, etc.
The problem is – you have to be referred to get help. If people like this man are confined to their house – how are medical professionals going to find out about it??????
It all comes down to similar reasons as a couple of other ‘neglect’ threads that have been on here recently. Either, he has no family and friends, or he has family and friends but they are ignoring the situation. :(
