wherv you been you little flange?

Just remember when you don’t want to pay the price asked it isn’t just time you are paying for. Nowdays everything is almost always single use/disposable. New set up for each person, wipe down, new covering on benches etc… all adds up! You could go get tats/piercings done on the cheap but I’d question the shop safety/risk factors first if they can cut costs :)

And Cosy just get a full sleeve and cover up those bloody awful, badly done tats of yours …. ya auld perv :)

Good point Boo………however tatts and piercing places should have always been doing the single use/wiping down etc

I get that prices have gone up….those industries are no exception regards the items they have to buy to give the service….i was just in shock….it was a shop and the stud wasnt really what i wanted, so with all those combinations I decided not to have it done. I will enquire at a tatt parlour about the price though and hopefully they might have a ring I like

The best thing about tattoos is we show then off on our skin. So if you just happen to see something you like on someone you can ask them who done it and would they recommend them?

With Paul who does mine and done my kids i now get a discount from him which helps the cost. And after he has done any tattoo he takes a photo of it and puts it on his shops FB page.

Tattoos are the mark of  child.  Only children draw on there body’s.

Those of us who grow up inside working class areas never had them or even throught about it. Too many people labelled us without giving them a reason for new one.

And even now if I see a tattoo my mined returns to the morons on the council estates working low paid jobs……drinking there wages away on a Fri night.

    boo

Most shops were in the practice of sterilizing their own equipment but for health/safety they moved over to one use needles etc … changes like everything else and it has snowballed – the last thing they want is a claim against them so eliminate as many risk factors as posible. Also ‘tattooists’ are now refered to as ‘tattoo artists’ as you can now go in to most shops and request your own design – black/white/portraits – things that aren’t a transfer based picture but something bespoke … and you have to pay for that. I’m sure if you want a run of the mill …. pre designed tatt you can still get it done at a lesser cost to the consumer :)

Not sure about the price difference as I had my bespoke tattoo years ago…..I am after a piercing not a tattoo, but yes there would be considerably more work to prep and copy someone elses personal design

Hopefully I will get time next week to get some prices….if I lose momentum on something I want and time passes by I usually chicken out
