take me with you if you ever go home.. ?
23 July, 2012 at 11:11 pm #503969Not sure where home is since my mam and dad died…maybe I’d go back to the hotel that my dad helped build, I remember going with my mam to take his lunchbox sometimes, I must have only been 5 or 6 years old, and we’d sit on the beach togeher (it was a seafront hotel) while he ate his lunch. Now there’s a thought…
23 July, 2012 at 11:22 pm #503970Home is where you feel it is Jen jen.. My home will forever be Dundee. Yet my father was from Glasgow. He came here as a 17 year auld sailor and met my Mammy. I kinda have a love of the merchant city That is Glasgow too.. They are more eccentric on the west.
I have a confession.. I have not told Eira and Tyrone my problems..
23 July, 2012 at 11:28 pm #503971Home is the Welsh beach I spent many a happy summer on, where I walked in the winter and let the wind and the sea spray blow away my worries, such as they were, along with the cobwebs. Any beach can make me feel as if I’m home again if I close my eyes.
I think I need to go to the seaside…soon…maybe I’ll dream of it tonight.
Night Rubes xx23 July, 2012 at 11:28 pm #503972And maybe it’s time to tell Eira and Tyrone
