When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that’s the best
When I lay me down to die
Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky
Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky
That’s where I’m gonna go when I die
When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that’s the best14 July, 2015 at 10:40 am #526023Classic 70’s kids TV

Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.

Magnifico.18 July, 2015 at 9:23 am #526025I really disliked most of the music of the 70s, I’m afraid,
(the popular music, I mean, there are some great pieces of contemporary music)
but there are some real gems
and this is one of the brightest from 1977

18 July, 2015 at 8:19 pm #526028True but….”Spirit in the Sky” is a song written and originally recorded by Norman Greenbaum and released in late 1969. The single sold two million copies from 1969 to 1970 and reached number three in the U.S. Billboard chart (April 18, 1970) where it listed for 15 weeks in the Top 100.
