I have never uses Windows Xp at home.
We have it at work, but never like it.
Like LINUX Red Hat much better and its more personal, you can chop and chagen it to suit your needs and it was free.
I am not sure if it still is.
Windows has always been for the people who buy there computers at Currys or PC World.

Curry and pcworld are the same company.
And they sell mass market pc’s that use cheaper parts and only do the min.
Its like ready made suites, just for the people who don’t know what they are buying.
They just need something, has long has it works.
17 February, 2007 at 6:10 am #260675Hi :D
I have used versions of the Linux kernal (Ubuntu, Puppy Linux, and recently Mandriva one) on duel boot from second HDD i also ran Vista RC 1 Beta and i must admit i was more impressed with Mandriva then i was with Vista, if your interested in Lunix variations you can try a “Live Distro”- (this runs from your optical drive “CD/DVD Drive”) downloads as an ISO image and is burnt to disk (you will need to boot from your CD/DVD Drive, if you are not sure how to do this Please do ask someone who is familiar with BIOS and Boot Configuration
If you don’t have a CD/DVD Burner try this “its free”- CD Burner XP
