now.. before ye all start shang a langing along I have a particular whinge about the “rollers”.
a pal o mine married one. Compassion decrees i do not mention names. She was a bonny lassie, i say ” was” as she died 10 years ago through drink and a horrible husband !
all she wanted in life wa to meet a certain man of ” note “.. even calling short a holiday we all once had to go see her ” roller”.. who treated her with disdain. (angry face)
Thng is before she married the “roller” whilst pregnant ( ahem) .Im reminded of the fact she always met a guy around smas time and she would sign her xmas cards from the 2 of them ! even a one night night stand !I therefore get confused with Rob and envy.. was it not nother name he once used? rob and jadey ?? did they remarry..? does his wife even know he uses other female names ?
from nnow on i shall sign off with the moniker of ” ruby and pip” as i think these names go.. or even ” ruby and Moon”. no cannot use moon as she is married..I am kinda old fashioned like that.ruby and pip xx

I found it essential to wear one myself over the school uniform, well the half that my parents could afford, the rest was discarded wallpaper and inventive use of magic marker. I sure impressed young and ok Maggie May back in the day.Walked 3 miles home, saving the bus fare for sweets, in that heat of a summer proclaiming my allegiance to some clan. And who should appear on TOTP ? Yep, Les and the boys waving the scarves over their well-tussled mullets, and bang went any street-cred that only existed in my own imagination anyway. I hear Bad Manners is still saving up for the first two Rollers’ albums.
Maybe Jamie Reid saw me from the bus and got some ideas I dunno . . . . . . .
