haha yer the poisoning, i forgot about that!
26 October, 2008 at 10:26 am #358814well Ramos got the tin-tack late last night so now it’s Harry Redknapp in charge. Can’t exactly see Tony Adams following him to the Lane though, imagine that !
26 October, 2008 at 12:27 pm #358815Not sure about this one. Harry is a great manager but i dont think he’s very good when it comes to having a large budget. I can see us paying over the odd’s for some unknown Nigerian or some player from some unknown part of India
But saying that, I don’t think his apointment will solve any of the problems unless Harry as full and total control of who he buys and sells and the board start to get a backbone and being tougher on Clubs that try to poach our players.26 October, 2008 at 1:17 pm #358816I don’t think he has ever had a big budget, he can’t buy anyone in till Jan anyway, so he has a bit of time to sort out who he wants and who he does’nt
I’m sure he will do a good job, I bet he wishes he never signed Defoe now, bought Bent instead for portsmouth
26 October, 2008 at 2:14 pm #358817he could persuade Defoe to come back could he not?
26 October, 2008 at 2:20 pm #358818not much point, he will just go for Zaki who is currently on loan at Wigan
26 October, 2008 at 6:49 pm #358819lets stop all this nonsense talk on this beautiful thread once and for all.
I felt sorry for the hammers today, and that was no way a red card offence at the end.
26 October, 2008 at 7:16 pm #358820Redknapp is just another want away manager soon as the money dries up who thinks he’s better than he is. Did he take bungs, yeah course he did.
26 October, 2008 at 7:21 pm #358821A stop-gap.
To get some points on the board and thus support the share price until Levy finds a buyer.
26 October, 2008 at 11:16 pm #358822he is currently the best english manager, 3rd best british manager behind Fergie and O’Neil
its good to see an english club going for a british/english manager, he was the best you gonna get
Jim Gannon for some reason was ruled out of the position, saying he was happy at Stockport County
