I was incredibly sad to learn this morning, of the death of former Gretna FC boss Brooks Mileson, the eccentric gent who won my love and respect not only for allowing Gretna its chance to aim for the stars, but for his tender compassion towards the animals in the sanctuary that he ran in his home grounds.
