posted here in the wastelands because I couldn’t find the “Astronomy for Nerds” Forum.

A blast of ultra-violet light travels through a star ahead of it’s explosion, the luminosity of which equates to the light of a thousand billion suns……….

You scarily remind me of that science teacher who I thought had forgotten about the homework I was supposed to hand in 6 weeks earlier and I happlly thought Id got away with it until I walked down this corridor…

/shudders with inner dread and shakes a bit and stutters

“yes sir, the stars were bright………… and they were IN THE SKY”

    Sharon……

some of us drink from the fountain of knowledge, do you only gargle then ?

did you fall out of your family tree and into some gene pool while the lifeguards weren’t looking ?

maybe your intelligence has not only reached rock bottom but is now making digging motions ?

are you brighter than Alaska on a December evening ?

I’d give you a penny for your thoughts but, please, keep the change…………

    : o )
