I saw him a few years ago at the Barbie can, but I can’t remember anything about it to be honest. Anyway it is Britten’s centenary this year and I have mostly been wallowing in his work. Remotely of course. But is is the end of the year and that means the end of year polls for the music of the year. And this means I will be like a kid in a sweet shop for the next two weeks or so.
