I have always been  fortunate, or lucky or blessed with being able to deal quickly with physical pain. I have had so many bike accidents i’ve lost count; this morning being no exception. My foot slipped on my pedal and i ended up with my face taking the full impact. Looks at the moment like i’ve been in a round or two with Tyson Fury.

Any way, the point is, when you are used to experiencing pain, you get used to it and you get less scared of it every time some thing happens. This is where inspirational heroes come in because when you see cyclists break their collar bones, legs, arms and many other things and still carry on doing their thing then one’s own injuries pale into insignificance.

This principle applies to every aspect of life. I’m not suggesting in any way that one wants to deliberately receive pain to learn from it but life can be very painful in many different ways and in many different aspects so it’s better to let these things teach one for the better than to let them destroy one’s belief in one’s self  or in life it’s self  :good:

To any one who knows me………..i’m just who i am, i write what i think and feel and i don’t need any one’s approval to tell me if my posts are good enough. As far as i’m concerned……some posts get nil comments, some get a lot. I don’t really care.

If you have some thing friendly or nice to say…say it……other wise…you have to ask your self….why are you bothering to say any thing at all?

You all have a great afternoon and evening.

Wolves going to attack, you know… but respect to you for a reply.

2x a week dental office visits mandatory. Primary/Surgeon. Have strong tolerance for physical pain, and do not want to start control substance medications until after my surgery.. Do not take any medications. On antibiotics only. Dentist/myself working on a plan to help tremendous discomfort with gums and teeth. Getting headaches on regular basis, and sinus issues as well starting. Never had…gums sore, swelling. Ice packs keep the swelling down, lessens the discomfort for awhile…

    misterq,

If you tell me your next bicycle route, I can arrange a land mine to be placed in the road, as you don’t seem to mind the pain.
