8 April, 2012 at 11:52 am #493024oh right ta,but whats the language? out of interest. :o
8 April, 2012 at 6:13 pm #493025( Rogue Trader the language was Aramaic together with Latin being spoken by the Romans. I didn’t know but I checked it out after I watched the film. Just out of interest.)
Poignant.
Thanks for posting the film Sgt.
8 April, 2012 at 6:39 pm #493026yes pepsi i picked out the Latin, but had to be told abt the Aramaic, a brilliant albeit hard to watch film, very thought provoking on so many levels, from the religious aspect to the philosophy behind it, it would be a wonderful education tool this film if it wasn’t quite so bloody, and i doubt schools/ colleges nowadays would allow it, but i really do think it would open alot of peoples eyes, at the very least.
29 March, 2013 at 2:12 pm #493027Bump.
30 March, 2013 at 11:42 am #493028Sorry….
didn’t like the movie… found the blood, the bone-crunching a bit on the sickening side
when you get the crucifixion without the resurrection…you get
Mad Max Hits the Cross
or Braveheart in Jerusalem
30 March, 2013 at 11:49 am #493029this is the first bit of a much better programme on the passion, from BBC and HBO.. I found it very moving
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj5Oi1st9ek
you can chase the rest of the programme through the links which go with this. It lasts 3 hours, but very well acted, and atheists have expressed their appreciation of its intelligence.
