no doctor should do that.. !! you should report him, could be a young woman/girl next time !

I am truly stunned! and agree with Ruby …. I did at first think this was all a joke anc … but since reading your replies , i can now see it isn’t….. I cannot believe you actually let him do it… when as you say , you went there for a problem with your ear.

I knows knitty – will have a think about it over the next couple of days, and have a word with some friends down here and see what they think. I can understand why you provisionally thought I was joking, ‘cos I normally am in here, but I am serious, and I am a bit concerned, hence mentioning it. Well, it it is a bit odd innit?! Do you know when you think you are being paranoid and stupid about something? That is why I voiced it to see what others thought. mwa mwa xxx

It could be that because you rarely go to the docs he gave you a general check over…. maybe they have to do certain health checks for all their patients.

Im like you anc…. touch wood… Im never ill,,, so if I do go to the docs he always does a few checks… blood pressure that sort of thing…. maybe its as simple as that….. BTW when my kids swam seriously they were forever getting ear infections.

No doc has ever been interested in my nipple.

If he were, I would be seriously concerned.

If I were a woman, I would want to know why? As Ruby said, no matter how good-looking the doc is, he may be trying it on vulnerable women. Or it could be for medical reasons. But I would want to know.

In the medical centre I attended until recently, one doc was always having kids in for special sessions, where he’d take their clothes off too examine them. He filmed it all and sold the film on the black market. made a lot of cash, I believe. I am not makiing this up.

He’s now in prison, and the medical centre have been very very senswitive about medical ethics ever since.

Hmmmmm, well, I did have a bra on, if he had asked me to take it off I would be even more concerned. I have decided to call them up on Monday and ask to speak to my normal doc (presuming he is back from holiday), and have a word about it.

Oh, I dunno, just got a bit of a yicky feeling about it.

Interesting your story scep – when I was 15 I got glandular fever – the doc made me take my clothes off and face a full-length mirror and started to examine my ‘glands’ from behind – luckily for me, my step-mother was outside, and I called her in, had that yicky feeling again! She got him struck-off!!!!!!

Another story, at primary school, we had to have a medical every term – nothing on, again – by the married heads of the school – I have since found out they were imprisoned for paedophilia!!

    Jeez eh?! :?

I dunno if anyone is like me, but I only go to my ‘quack’ for a repeat prescription, and other than that, only for extreme reasons.

Is it normal for a ‘quack’ to check your chest by pressing a stethoscope on your nipple?! :? if he did it without looking at your boobs then I dont see anything wrong with it, he could be a newbie and got the wrong area. Or you could have massive nipples and it wasnt his fault – no joke by the way.

Anyone else had something ‘odd’ checked that has nothing at all to do with what you went in for? In my case it is a perforated eardrum – hardly reason to check my bliddy breathing/lungs fgs! Yes, that means he’s a good doctor and is given you a full check just to make sure that everything else is fine as its always good to catch things early, so just because you went in with ear infection he was just making sure it was just your ear and not your lungs too – your a smoker right? then most doc’s will check your blood pressure and heart beat/breating aswell.

Fair points – NO I don’t have large nipnops – haven’t had my lungs checked ever before either (well apart from when I was preggas), which is what made me curious.

He was a locom, not a newbie and I dunno if he was looking or not.

Also, it wasn’t caught early – I went in Feb with it and all the locom then (my quack obviously takes more than one holiday a year! lol) said was to keep it out of water! He didn’t even take my blood pressure either!

When I went back in around May/June time and saw my quack my ear wasn’t hurting – had everything checked out, but not my chest!

I know where you are coming from and would like to whole-heartedly agree, but I do think it was odd. Still, I gonna ask anyway.

Thanks for the concern mwa mwa xxx
