In my opinion there is no cure for peadophiles and they should bring back the death penalty for them. As people they serve no purpose other than to damage others.
I don’t believe that just bing a paedophile should be illegal, acting upon those impulses should be.
There is also the posibility of non-paedophiles having sex with children. This could be because they did not know the age of the person, or because of some kind of power fantasy, or some other reason. To make being a peadophile illegal does nothing to protect children in these cases.
You would also then be giving the government power to police people’s thoughts, which is even more dangerous that the original post.
Drac, god you so right…so agree..sadly they fine you if not get permission. A homeowner 5 years ago down the street from me cut off trees around his own property.. people so upset, fought in meetings with board, our legislators.
Homeowner fined ten thousand American dollars. Also had to buy shrubbery replacement for where trees removed..it stunk… you know his fine went into our town funds to use. Lord I was mad.

In fact why stop there, lets execute any man who looks at a pretty 15 year old in a bikini on the beach.
Lets go further though, lets monitor their thoughts and plant a small bomb in their head which immediately explodes when any inappropriate thoughts are detected.
