Said the vulture to the rabbit.

To be fair the main appeal is here is the bitching as such. What bores me is how it’s now so predictable. People don’t even appear to read the posts and just use them to attack the same target whatever they say, yet if someone they side with said the same it would be met with many moronic smilies of approval.

    fact

the boards are the most busy when there is a squabble going on

the majority of posters love the grief

oh many will say i dont

but still post on the very thread they complain about

    get over it

No fact about it,the squabbles only usually concern a couple of posters for about half an hour at a time before they retire to their respective corners before reappearing some time later to repeat what they have said a thousand times.Wouldn’t be so bad if they came out with some new put downs or one liners but it’s always the same sh/it.

Personally i think the boards are at their busiest when it’s “fun” banter that is going on,more posters get involved and not the same old snarling mouthpieces.

Reading a thread where people disagree passionately about something, whether that be a person, a view, morals, opinions, whatever it is, if those people keep it intelligent and witty, yes, it can be fun. We are all different, and personally I think to debate something intelligently, even if that involves arguing with someone is a good thing, but really the “he said, she said”, the back biting, the witch hunts, the sheer nastiness of it all that`s not fun. Surely for whatever personal reasons, we all come on here for some form of escape, and I honestly think it`s sad that there is so much bitchiness on here sometimes. Not one of us is perfect, we all have our secrets, what gives us the right to judge anyone on here?

I appreciate that not everyone will gel with everybody, we are all different but is there really a need to declare your hatred for someone on the boards? If you hate someone that much, ignore them, is it really worth the time and energy? Surely to god there are better things to get worked up about? I`ve only used the boards and chat rooms about 4 years, and in that time I have probably learnt more about human nature than in my 40 years of life. There are people online that will tear you apart, and smile while they do it, I`ve had it done to me big time, but there are also people that restore every ounce of what is good about people, and it`s those people we should care about :)

    Well said.

    Thanks :)

It really, really baffles me how someone can slag someone off, say how much they dislike them and then proceed to spend weeks talking about them! I, personally, have been really hurt by one person in chat, I cut all contact with them and don`t respond to anything they say or do, easy peasy, my friends know the truth, they have stuck by me. I have never had to not speak to someone based on who likes who, and never would. I like people based on how I feel about them , not who they get on with. As for judging people on here, I wouldn`t dare, would need a whole new lifetime to do that
