You presume an awful lot, human kindness, given that you don’t know me at all and seem to know even less about teh refugee crisis, one of the biggest we have ever faced (there are 11 million people! who’ve been displaced in Syria – of a total population of 22 million).
I’m glad the UN takes a more human view of refugees than to call them ‘rabble’
Calling refugees ‘rabble’ – a xenopbobic reaction if ever there was one – is another reason for me being right to post the pic of the drowned little tot.
And it’s not as simple as just taking in refugees, where do we put them ? there’s supposedly a housing shortage in the UK, we give the refugees priority that’s gonna cause resentment at the very least. How do we afford it ? Just £2 a month ? We’ve already reportedly given a billion pound to the refugee crisis, we can’t even pay out own bills ffs, we’re stripping benefits from the lowest paid, closing hospitals, sodding bedroom tax, it’s perverse.
Also why isn’t all this on the other refugee thread ? so anywayMy dog doesn’t like the Asian family who moved next door so I asked the vet “what should I do”
