I gather that before fully immersing oneself in life on the boards, it is protocol (according to the word of a certain Mr O. Kart anyway) to post a topic, so here’s mine. Thread deletion – having just been in the middle of reading a thread that got deleted, I can’t help but briefly wonder: What was it exactly that got the thread deleted? Did somebody swear in a later post that I hadn’t got to yet (cue sounds of woeful disappointment)? Did someone have a go at someone else? Did someone decide that the thread was “abusive, offensive”? Was it the original post that caused the deletion or a followup? If a followup then surely that post alone could have been deleted rather than the entire thread? If the original post needs to be deleted then does that mean the rest have to go too? What if a fascinating and interesting point was made later and that gets lost forever? So many questions! Answers on a postage stamp if you can be bothered, I’m making tea.

Hellooooooooooooooooooo geek! nice to see you here….boards are improving…a few new posters….really nice :good: Re the thread….Im guessing because there were accusations on the thread that could not be proved ….well as far as the posting was concerned no proof was put forward…ie extract from the room…maybe proof does exist (its a large first class stamp)

On that basis, the thread about me should be removed, too.
