ahem..have got what some would consider posh taste..and what others would consider snobby and boring taste..

    so

I would love to play opposite Giulietta Masina in La Strada. Just to look at her face, the way it gawks and stares and twists and hurts. The simplest face in the world, the moon face of a total idiot, or a saint. She was haunted by the question, why do stones exist, and when she finds the answer from the clown (Richard Basehart), she decides not to leave the man who’s beating the crap out of her. When the wife-beater jealously kills Basehart, she withdraws from life itself and the brute guiltily leaves her alone on the road, to fend for herself.

Hmm..now does this mean I am playing the wife-beater (Anthony Quinn)? He is so unlikeable, such a brute.

But the final scene, when he learns from a stranger of Giuletta’s death, is truly heartbreaking.

    Yeah, play opposite Giuletta masina.

I fancy my chances in a bollywood movie. Playing a hero, and the sexy Indian heroine showing glimpses of her skin through her sarree. 8)

Who said it was unpopular? Nobody’s mentioned a lot of movies they like.

So which cowboy would you have wanted to play, Lancsman, and why?

I would be Maxim de Winter’s new bride in the Alfred Hitchcock film ‘Rebecca’………My leading man would have to be Lawrence Olivier or if he wasn’t availlable to do the remake then I would accept Cary Grant with a third choice of Rock Hudson ………….a sinister story that ends on a ‘happily ever after’ note…………perfect.
