Errr… where was I joking?? I said it was a disgrace that her parents would let her get in that situation, but as PB pointed out, the story is rather biased and not the full story. I expressed my wishes of a hanging for the sake of her justice!
How the hell am I winding up? These are sick b*stards for what they did, and whoever allowed her to get into that position in the first place is just as responsible!

I still don’t believe a Judge of all people could think a 10 year old looks 16, though.

To be fair to Tommy (for a change) I really don’t think he was suggesting that children in care are fair game Ruby.
We simply don’t know why this poor child (and she IS a child for all of this) was forcibly taken away from her mother (and father???) and put into care. We do know that these things aren’t done lightly or without plenty of thought.
One HAS got to wonder what part the Oxford social services have played in all of this. After all they are acting ‘in loco parentis’ and they allowed or permitted a 10 year old to be away from their protection in circumstances where she could meet older men and have sexual intercourse with them.
So with all the ranting and raving from the Sun readers etc etc …. how about somebody thinks on THAT point huh???

I totally agree with you Sunny …. 16 is far too young to have sexual intercourse – for either sex.
But you know there are many many parents who don’t share that view and I’ll wager that some of our message board members have young 16 year old (or thereabouts) daughters who are sexually active and who tolerate it, permit it, or worse still actively encourage it.
In fact I wonder how many members had their first experience of sexual intercourse when they were 16 or even younger?

The BNP have policy to punish these evil creatures, whereas labour, lib dem and conservatives believe we should “listen to them”, “help them” etc. Its “inhumane” to lock them up for a long time.
