Been turning up less and less, and each time I do come in, the place gets infected by people who just really want to hold a grudge for ever against someone or other. It seems as if by coming here they can keep it alive and relevant somehow, rather than forgive and forget (though I know that can be hard) or simply by ignoring the other party.
To those I’ve had enjoyable conversations with over the years, thank you. It is possible I’ll pop in for a quiz or two, but from now if you see my usual Clive_not_in… then it’s the usual copycat (yes, he was in last Saturday night as Clive_not_in_Watford).
Hopefully some of you can bury the hatchets you carry about, or at least respect the other chatters and take your annoyances out in private with each other. Until then, I fear that there will be more and more drift off which is a shame.
Bye.
Clive
7 February, 2017 at 12:55 pm #1021291Sorry to see you go, Clive, though I go to the room so rarely now that I never really came across you.
I do understand what you’re saying about people and grudges.
7 February, 2017 at 2:47 pm #1021300Sorry to see you go Clive.
You seem to be one of the nicer people here, although you have your flaws too, as we all do (me included, well…. just tiny ones )
Not sure who you’re referring to as in bearing grudges, would be interesting to know who these people are.
Anyway, if you ever think of coming back would be nice to get to know you better , bearing in mind I speak my mind
7 February, 2017 at 3:02 pm #1021301Blossom makes me unintentionally snigger, the recent posts on these boards illustrate perfectly who bears grudges and who doesn’t and it is intertwined with chat in J3. I have also witnessed Clive taking sides on more than one occasion and so what is the point of this thread exactly?
7 February, 2017 at 3:14 pm #1021302That’s not bearing grudges, that’s just not putting up with muppets .
7 February, 2017 at 4:00 pm #1021306Is this a good time to ask for a farewell snog? Like a proper one
Be happy Clive
xx
7 February, 2017 at 4:33 pm #1021308It’s attention seeking at it’s finest this thread
7 February, 2017 at 7:42 pm #1021328Sorry to see you go.
I’m not sure it’s attention seeking. There are often questions in the room as to ‘have you seen so-and-so recently’.
At least people will know.
7 February, 2017 at 7:43 pm #1021329I for one will be sad to see you leave Clive, we’ve had some good chats. which I will treasure.
