You didn’t tell me you’d taken old Mrs Smith out…I wondered why she’d changed her will, leaving you a small bequest for “services rendered”…just enough to cover fish and chips on the pier followed by a 99. For future reference, my house is the one with the green door, Mrs Smith has a red door….unless…omg, are you colour blind? You didn’t say!

I did sign, though; after all, absence of ear trumpet makes conversation one sided, and as much as I like talking to myself I still like someone who says yes occasionally. Plus its a Mr Whippy, I don’t do chocolate since…. . Did she find her way home safely?
PS I now have a bizarre image of Shakin’ Jen Stevens singing Green Door. Can I get tablets for it?
Well her will is quite explicit about it being enough for a 99…at least I think it says 99, her hands are so athritic and it affects her writing you know. She doesn’t talk much at all since you returned her home, just sits there with rosy glowing cheeks and a smile on her face obviously reliving her memories…
