My baby use to call it her “pappie” Her nursery called me one day and told me they thought she was crying for her grandpa at naptime :lol: cause she kept saying “want my pappie”

I hate when my partner’s mum calls it a ‘tit’…don’t want my kids shouting that in the street LOL :shock: :lol:

i can mind when i was pregnant on the twins, i saw a boy in a buggy with a snobby nose and a dummy in his mouth, all the snobs was over the dummy, i threw up, an vowed id never let mine have dummys
i was lucky tho, mine never did want them :D

It took me 4 months to persuade Darryl to take one, and I’m glad I did. Was just after that that it was on the news about babies with dummies having a lower risk of cot death.
With Callum, I only let him have a dummy when he was going to sleep, and I took it off him just before he was 2 – had no problems with it, he was too young to miss it.
I hate seeing older kids going about with dummies ….it must be impossible to wean them off them at that age!
