This is sad slushy stuff and I don’t go in for sad slushy stuff….but, husband sent me a dozen long stemmed red roses with a bottle of red wine and box of chocs…..nothing slushy there, quite predictable. But, there was a lil blue teddin bear inside and the card read ‘we love you!!! from son and husband xxx can I have my teddy please mummy xxx’.

I thought that was so sweet.

Tonight is my seventh and final shift of this week (why I’m doing seven, I still don’t know) and our pubs/clubs haven’t jumped on the ‘valentine week’ bandwagon either so even better :D
