There i was enjoying a quiet bank holiday moment, sipping my morning cuppa deep in thought planning what to do with my day when my cat jumped onto my lap, i didnt notice what he had in his mouth until he let go of it!! Suddenly all hell broke loose!! cuppa hot tea all over me and this tiny mouse running around my kitchen!! The cat grabbed it again and decided to run around the house with it in his mouth. I was running around like a loony closing doors incase he got under one of the beds……….Anyway finally caught the poor thing in one of my drinking  glasses and took him outside,he looked none the worse for his capture. I stuck him back amongst the over grown ivy.

Cute, I love the posts. I have a cat 10 years old who still acts like a kitten if 6 months. Does what most cats do not. Climbs high trees, loves rain and showers. Hunting skills better than humans which really gets me upset as I most often try to cure and help what she catches or have to bury them. I have often read cats love the sport and fun to catch critters. Leaving at your front door is also a sign of love. We call her Mercedes because she is extremely fast. Birds, squirrels, baby rabbits, chipmunks, mice, snakes, are just to name a few things I have been welcomed with. This one morning coming home from work laid at my front door was definite burial detail. I had to go to the bathroom so bad I had to use another entrance way. 2 rabbits, 1 squirell, 5 chipmunks, 3 bluejays, 6 mice, and a few things not sure of as they must of picked a good fight with her. My neighbors love her for mice detail, but some times they call me to let me know she got something from their yard be warn. Last week my neighbor called to tell me she was going after small baby ducks in his pond. I have spent more time getting her out of trouble then children or my own. Hee hee.

I can just imagine the fury it would cause if my dog happened to catch a cat that came in his/my garden to take a dump.
