It’s been asked loads of times over the years and is a very good question to think about. What would you do with a million pounds?What would you do with that amount of money? Would you just keep it all to your self or would you use some of it to help others? To be honest, people say all sorts of things about what they would do but it’s not until you have that sort of money does it show what you will do with it.
It’s a bit like life really , any one can say any thing they like. It’s what you do that proves who you are. And that can’t always be seen in the short run.
Any way…what would you do with a million pounds?

i wud fix as many world probs as i cud, and obv live life not worrying about cash what all people should beable to, but sadly people are taken advantage of people.
actully 1 mill is not that much these days, so i prob use that to make more cash to beable to do what i mentioned^

First thing I would do is buy a house on the coast, waterside and isolated but not that isolated I have to drive for an hour to buy provisions.
I would pay of the university fees of family members and help with a down payment for a house but I wouldn’t do more than that and I would also donate to my favorite three charities.
Then I would spend the next 30-40 years sitting on my arse doing nothing at all but pottering about in my garden and eating nice food and drinking nice wine.
I would help my children and my mother out with money, making sure they had security and a good quality of life. Then i would start my business back up and hopefully become a writer full time. I’d also like to buy a six track and start writing music again.
I would pay for sperm donation at a fertility clinic and hopefully have twin girls. I would then have body resculpture surgery liposuction botox etc so i didnt have to look like a bag of crap anymore.
Id consider buying JC off Martin or suggesting i buy a share in it and run it my way.
Then i would donate money to a few charities.
And live happily ever after.
(think i might need more than 1 mil)
As a patriot, I would give it to the Treasury so that they can pay off our country’s debts – a little.

LOL! thanks for the comments. Sceptical Guy…that would be very generous of you but it wouldn’t make much of a dent in the debt owing but it’s honorable you wish to donate to the goose that lays the golden egg. LOL
Tell me some thing miz…..What sort of things do you need money for to go into writing full time? Wilkinson do a good set of Biros for a quid and 300 sheets of paper for the same. LOL Only joking it’s an interesting question? Does full time writing need a lot of money put into it?
As for the six track stereo…that’s awesome. I have many different Daws…digital audio work stations and one of the best value that you can pug mic and guitar in can cost £45.00. Amazing kit. You remember that Daniel Benningfield hit from some years ago? I don’t personally move to it but that’s just me but the recording is amazing and the guy made the demo entirely from his bedroom. Inspired me to keep going with my music.
W.T.G Ge……..great things to do…yeah (no more than that) once you got that sort of money you’ll find that a lot will just expect you to give it to them. Stand your ground.
Great causes Just and your right, a million doesn’t go far when you’ve got it to use as you think of more and more ways and you realize how much is needed every where. But at the end of the day……every little counts.
After my trip the other week i have decided( as well as many other things over the years) to open a chain of cycle stops from Land’s end to John O’Groates separated at 100 mile distances. I’d like to do it at 50 mile distances but that means at least 20 places where 100 means roughly ten…then connect them all some time later. Thing is….i’d want enough money to support it all my self so no one has to really pay…just donate…bring their own food and use the facilities.
Just found out this morning that Question Time is to be in my town today. LOL This should be interesting. Hinkley Point will be brought up no doubt.
