You dont mean our beautiful french lady with the lovely dark wavy hair do you? She was lovely :D

she wanted you to delete her account, and, apparantly you wouldnt (her words). You deleted Rubes pretty quick smart didnt ya!!

I think I remember one of the replies saying ( to ms lambrini) ” we cannot simply delete a user as it would make old threads unreadable and non-sensical or something like that”……….

OK. ive just realised what I just wrote and Rubes and hey ho……….

Let me try and make things a little bit clearer for u Sharon as PB obviously cant bring himself to do it …

Lambrini Girl actually made a great contribution to these boards. Her posts were always well thought out, deep and thought provoking which always left other posters with ample ammunition to carry on a debate whether u were in agreement with her comments or not. To have deleted her account and hence all her posts would have made threads unreadable and in disarray which would have been a great shame for the users of this site.

Ruby on the other hand was a slightly different kettle of fish.

She would come onto the boards late at night, and obviously worse for drink, and post incomprehensible rubbish that basically had nothing whatsoever to do with the topic in question. The more she drank the more slordid her typing became until it got to the point where people couldnt even decipher what she was saying let alone comment on it. The deletion of all her posts did us all a favour as it cleaned away all the drink induced tripe and allowed the rest of us to concentrate on the subject in hand.

PB should be applauded for his handling of both cases. Not only was he correct in hesitating as long as possible before deleting Lambrini Girls account but he should also be commended for kicking Ruby out at the first opportunity before she had time to sober up and reflect on her request.

Thats my rant for the day over… 8)

What was the subject matter on this thread again… 8-[

Pb the pink thing for the gays comes from the German death camps of ww2. Yellow stars for jews, pink triangles for gays.

You need to ask some old Germans why.

Has for the rest of them, they have a focus group who pick the colours.

    Hope its helps.

That was remarkably (and uncharacteristically) helpful DOA.

Tell me, what colour ribbon did they select for linguistically challenged ”pummers”???

This is excellent stuff DOA, and a jolly good read. I heartily reccomend it to all single issue bigots.

So the theory you are putting forward DOA is that all these bleeding heart do-gooders that wear coloured ribbons of solidarity on their breast to show the world their support for their chosen cause …. are in fact a throwback to the Nazis.

If it wasn’t for Adolf Hitler and his BNP thugs setting up this complex colour coding in the first place, nobody would know what particular colour to pin on themselves.

Thank God for Hitler then eh DOA???? I mean you might have had mass confusion amongst the bigots with, for example, poofters and fudge packers wearing a Brown ribbon.

    That would never do, eh??

    errrr no pb.

What I am trying to say to you is Nazis rarely had an original idea. (Much like the people on here)

There nothing new about colour coding support and a way of making money or againing support.

It seems there marketing companys selling this idea to anyone with a cause.

It is time for us all to wear black/blue ribbons to show support for pb famliy who will have to spend Xmass with him?
