I sorted it now. Someone must have been one of the kids had set it to blimmin arabic! So I couldnt understand my homepage (it was the IE7 welcome page), but now I can 8)
So Sharon ….. back to the nice chaps in white coats ………. !!!

actually this is what happened Sharon……..
Due to your quite understandable hatred of Dirty Yids, all electrical appliances in your household, including toasters, irons and even hair-straighteners, became conversant in Arabic out of loyalty to their owner. It’s a well known phenomenon amongst gooners – (check the name of that stadium in Ashburton Grove ).
With your postings the poor computer never stood a chance now did it ?
