    . . . . . nothing to say (at the moment ). . . . . . . . . which, admittedly, is a strange way to start a thread in socialmedialand.

Contributions would be greatly appreciated from any interested parties.

I saw this guy in 1975/6 in Bristol with a good friend who always took me to interesting concerts.

Wilko was in Dr Feelgood, whose lead singer had a really tough voice. Wilko played the guitar frenetically.

They were playing 50s style rock n’ roll, which was not in favour at that time.

The music of that era was prosperous rock, very mellifluous, The Eagles, 10cc stick out – real bland.

Wilko and Dr Feelgood were not bland – they were really exciting.

I was so drunk that I somersaulted on the dance floor while carrying a full pint of beer, and amazingly (I still don’t know how) did not spill very much beer.

    Most threads start that way.
