I prefer Moray, Orkney or Highland malt to Western Isles malt, but don’t write off all bourbon. Forget Jack Daniels and Jim Beam and go for Maker’s Mark or Woodford Reserve both of which are high quality drinks.

Not that I have tried enough whisky, whiskey or bourbon to know……….
