    $10 an hour? After the company takes a cut that doesn’t leave much for the person who is being paid to be your friend, does it? Who is getting taken for a ride here?

    I don’t think it is such a bad idea…..a step down from professional dates I guess…..the example that made sense to me was the sports events and 2 tickets……I have certain friends who like sporting events and go with me or I go with them but some would rather poke their eyes out with hot pokers than go to a sporting event…..
    All said and done….if you have to buy both tickets…pay for travel etc blah blah blah you might as well take someone you know ……always be a freeloader if they don’t have to pay :-) ….suddenly they find your stuff interesting
    A good idea if you have use for it…why not.
