25 November, 2012 at 7:42 pm #516180Well Auntie Surrey haha
It was the jumping to conclusions part that interested me as it seems quite prevalent on here. There is a reason for everything we do.
As for the not being liked, well im used to that as ive had many a good punch up on a sunday morning with an 80 year old over a troika coffin vase.

That chair interests me Surrey….
Is it inspired by a Louis xiii highback armchair. employing the same craftsman techniques used 350 years ago.Its burnished solid oak legs, arms and stretchers are hand turned on a lathe while it bears the hallmark of mortise and tenon construction. The formal detailing is relaxed and balanced by a distressed finish, rustic tea stained burlac upholstery and hand hammered upholstered brads.

Oh im still about but not much for online activities nowadays.
Im working and reading and really should be picking up my guitar as i got to grade 8 standard on the classical, just seems such a waste.
Im looking in to buying a moped as my cars been scrapped, would like to do 25 mph in a 40 just to hold up the traffic.
Still devising racing systems as my long term aim is to retire and buy a vw camper and tour round the uk.
My cousin has a narrowboat but im not quite sure where he is at the moment. He set sail from Burnley marina (didnt know they had one) heading towards Leeds, so he might be somewhere in the midlands at the moment. If i catch up with him i will jump aboard for a few weeks. x

Retired people should be encouraged to do community work such as caring for the “very old” or face losing some of their pension, a peer has suggested.
Lord Bichard, a former benefits chief, said “imaginative” ideas were needed to meet the cost of an ageing society.
Funny, I thought that working all my adult life and paying national insurance and tax was working for my pension…guess I was wrong…
Maybe lord pilchard might find it easier if all pensioners were put in labour camps,.
