Yes very fond memories.I must confess i shed a a tear today when i read a card from my niece saying, i wish you could of seen us as grown ups and hope you would of been proud of us.

6. A teaspoon of sugar.
What is it with doctors nowadays, have they turned in to keyboard freaks. Years ago you could visit the doc and he would show an interest in your bits and bobs as he waved and poked them about looking for a diagnosis.Nowadays there is no eye contact just a hmm whilst typing on Nhs word.
What are the prerequisites for becoming a doctor, medical school or an Ecdl course at the local college.
My doctor just asks me ” what do you want me to do” hello isnt that the reason i came here in the first place.
I think if i went to the docs and said ive got a headache and can you sign me off for a year he would do it, better than being sued for negligence i suppose.
5. Would you like salad or vegetables?
Now miserable waitresses are one thing, but rude and miserable is too much. Ive been for a meal with the family, they are all loud and sociable, but i like to sit quietly chomping on my 12ozs of meat so to speak.
Now we were put down the stairs in a small area which was vastly overheated. when we said can we have 10 mins before we place our order she says “ive got a bad ankle and im not running up and down the stairs all night”. Jesus whats this woman working here for. The woman should not be at work if she is struggling to walk, as the idea of being a waitress is you have to walk about a bit.
In the end things turned out well, my sisters partner was giving her a ribbing most of the evening, so she left and another waitress appeared.At the end of the night we were given the desserts for free as we mentioned what this waitress had said.
If you dont want to work somewhere and do the best you can, move over as someone else will.
4. Its my turn join the queue.
One thing that really does annoy me is when you queuing (good english to leave the e out) and the man in front is suddenly joined by 15 of his mates. Did he have a sign up saying there will be 16 of us here. No he didnt, so get to the back with your mates.
The modern world doesnt know about queuing any more.Take the bus stop for example, people dont stand from the front of the shelter any more, its a swarm of people attacking the doors from all angles.
Do we say anything?No just a head down moan to ourselves.Like the meal in the restaurant that is awful and when the waiter arrives asking if everything is ok you say ” yeh, its lovely thank you”.
Come on, stand in a line like the rest of us, and dont stand too close to the person in front, i dont want to feel your chest poking in to my back.
3. Its the overtakers that keep the undertakers going.
Slow down please, why overtake on a bend at night in the rain when chances are we will be sitting side by side at the next set of lights. Is it really that important to lose your life for the sake of 20 seconds. Maybe its an ego thing, i have to be in front of you because my car is better than yours and the bonnet matches the rest of the car.
Next time you see a car behind you, and its so close you cant even see its lights, slow right down, open the window, turn up the bread cd and smile.
Lifes not about where you end up but the journey on the way.

How many of your calls and texts can you really say are of any importance? Does little johnny real need to know on his £500 i phone that Chloe and Oliver wont be going to park until 5 as they are having their tea.
Take a look around when your strolling down the high street at the weekend. How many people are walking towards lamp posts with their head down as though their life depended on it.
Its important to keep in touch yes, but do you need to do it at the expense of interacting with the person sat opposite you at the dinner table.
