Id agree with most of what your saying Lucy but i think deep down we all have the desire to be liked.One thing i dont understand on here is why people argue with complete strangers, i mean what does it matter, maybe its i have to get the last word in syndrome.
Some people are naturally open and trusting in life so they are the same here while others have the barriers up but its each to his own i suppose.
