Anyway, think we have decided on Loch Lomond, beautiful but not too far to drive. Been there before and I loved it but it was with a “previous” so I was trying to go somewhere else :lol: . But nope, Loch Lomond it is. Now just gotta find a lodge/log cabin. Oh, thanks for your hotel suggstion Lucky, maybe last year that would have been an option but family/financial circumstances have changed somewhat :lol: .

Dee, base yourself here for seeing Loch Lommond and the Trossachs National Park we go there the kids love it there… also Oban an hours drive, fort william etc…. also on this site have links to their other sites ne’er Dundee, Nairn etc…..
