well Fasty, I actually agree with ya there m8…. us woman aren’t like ‘our mothers and grandmothers’…. time changes…. like my views are… why on earth would I let anyman take care of myself and my children when I can do a dam fine job on my own, still work 2 jobs run my house …. which is bought n paid for….

Thousands of old boys who were POW’S of the Japs during World War 2 could tell you a thing or two about misery and suffering im sure. nothing related to this story but it sprang to mind…. My Grandpa was serving likeothers in the Second World War… and was captured… and gratefully we got him back in one piece…. well kind of… my Grandpas’ left ear he only had half of… I rem when I was growing up I used to asked him what happened to his ear… he said ‘ oh its was German that ripped it off’……. right up until the day of my Grandpas funeral in 1993… I was like ‘Dirtty Germans’… and i brought the story up when at the wake…. whilest we were all remembering stories Grandpa told us…. when I said about ‘ the Dirtty Germans ripping my Grandpas’ ear off….. my grannie laughed and said ‘ the ole Roughe yes it was a German but not in the War… it was in Broomhoose in Edinburgh your Grandpa was being to smart with a German Shephard Dog…!!! lmfao… it was the dug that ripped his ear off not a Nazis….

Did you watch the Davis cup againest the Dutch…. young Murrays brother Jamie pairing up with retired Candian/British Rudeski ( that spelt rite) pity he doesnt have more skill in forehand etc he’d be playing single tennis…. but he’s sticking with doubles… his first Davis Cup outing and won in a superb game…. and they were’nt playing againest a poor Dutch team…
I putting a we wager on the French Open, Stella Atrois Cup and Wimbledon worth a wee flutter, remember he’s only what 22…. if that yet… I think compared to Henman we’ve maybe got a glimmer of hope Murray could win wimbledon one day…. he’s strong enough and good enough…
plus I think it helps he’s has plenty of National Pride behind him eh…. even if that Mainly Scottish heavy handed lol
