Personally, I blame daughter for tipping Gwenny off about the dangers of scoffing peanut butter – especially that which is used to bait mouse traps.
Still I did have one moment of joy last week. Senior management was pursuing her domestic tasks in the kitchen when she dropped an empty juice carton. Unfortunately for her, it landed partly on one of the mouse traps causing it to go off with a very loud crash!!
I can only assume that she thought that Gwenny had finally committed suicide in front of her as the first I knew of it was a loud piercing scream followed by the sound of a herd of Heffalumps stampeding out of the kitchen.
I immediately carried out a full and thorough investigation (as per my shouted instructions) in case there was a dead mouse in the kitchen ….. but sadly nothing.
I now understand that mentioning panic; hysteria; and screaming over nothing all; in the same sentence is a totally unacceptable response to a perfectly normal reaction by senior management, when faced with extreme perceived danger.

managed finally to clear the shed so mum said was a blessin in disguise..!! but all the baby stuff like pram etc… have been mauled by the pesky wee effers’ so lost money there..!!
im sure gwenny will refurance and u can get ur revenged..! lol
