Wow! The Americans get hit by foreign terrorism for the first time ever and now they are all of a sudden experts! Thanks for the deep benefit of your obvious knowledge.

You’re welcome Magoo – Anything I can do to expand your knowledge is sheer pleasure on my part darling. xxx

Sorry Bad Manners, I misread your post. Please accept my apologies. But, I do stand by the fact that terrorism is everywhere.

I lost my temper at my husband 2 nights ago (nothing new there). I told him I wanted to start re-decorating some rooms in the house because I get bored and need some projects. He’s a tight ass when it comes to money (unless of course it’s for something he wants) and told me that it’s not “necessary” . We have the money to do it -but he doesn’t see that we NEED it. Even though I have a million ideas to make the house look so great on a very small budget. Then he told be to “learn how to bake a pie or something”. Bake a fricking pie? Yes, needless to say that didn’t go over to great.

It’s not downhill from 21 – It’s downhill at 30
    Ha ha – Just kidding.
There is always something to look forward to in life. You have the rest of yours a head of you. Who knows what it’s going to hold. Just remember that each day is a gift and that some people don’t make as long as you have. Life it what you make it.

You don’t stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing!

Well Mr. Bigstuff – I don’t know about the world, but I don’t agree with letting terrorism flourish and turning your head so you “pretend” it’s not there and thriving. Something had to be done and it has. War is awful and nobody wants to see innocent people’s lives being destroyed. But, like I’ve said in previous posts, it’s not forever and in the end I’m certain we made the right decision going in.

Iraq had nothing to do with al qaeda and nothing to do with september 11. So what are you talking about terrorism for?

Now I have to believe that you are more informed than that. You have to be aware that Terrorism isn’t just in one country – right? I hate to have to tell you this, but it’s practically in every country. In my country as well as yours. Terrorism will not be wiped out just by riding it of one man (Bin Laden) or of his network.
Al Qaeda had nothing to do with 9/11???
If you believe that, then you’ll also believe that Santa Clause and his reindeer will be visiting you in about 5 months.

I’d just like to add that men don’t seem that appealing either if they swear a lot

So I could smell something pretty funky in my car today and decided to find the source. I found the area it was coming from and decided to scrub the seat. Well I finished that and it smelled soooo much better. But then I couldn’t stop. I ended up scrubbing my entire car inside and out  . Last month I decided to clean out my closet and ended up painting the bedroom. Fess Up! I know I’m not alone in this type of behavior.

Do you fancy a ‘busman’s holiday’ in sunny Reading? 8)

hi, I am from Portland Oregon USA and most of the people I know (most of this city for that matter, feel that GB has taken our country into an unnecessary war for the profit of major corporations…KBR, Haliburton, etc. I was wondering what the views of most of you are about this and how you feel about the average American. How much news do you get about the protests here and how many Americans are absolutely opposed to this situation?
    Paula from Portland :?

Nope – Not opposed to what’s going on in Iraq and I am a GB and Troop Supporter. And honestly, why ask what people think of the average American? We’re all different just as the Europeans are. People should be judged on an individual basis. I’ve not made many friends on the Current Affairs boards, not because I am American (or maybe it is   ), but because of the views I hold. I’d rather be judged on that and take the criticism with a grain of salt. Obviously you and I are different in our political views and because of this, people will have a different opinion of you than they do me. You’re probably going to be better liked on the Current Affairs Board that I am. But, more power to you hun. Happy Posting.

Well, if I’m going to post, I’ll usually do it in the mornings between 8-9. Now since I’m in America, I think I’m about 6 hours behind the U.K. Today in an exception, since I just cleaned my entire car from top to bottom and now I’m extremely tired and didn’t want to do anything else but sit and type. Do you like playing hard to get or something? Why would you want to avoid anybody on here?
