29 May, 2006 at 1:09 pm #221335Thank you Alan, Becky, Gyps, Soulie, Sunny and Dawny. And ofcourse Squeezy once again!!! :)
Well I survived my big 30th B-Day. Didn’t do anything too exciting. I wen’t to church, cleaned for my mom, visited with my mom, did some shopping (clothes ofcourse), went to dinner and watched a movie. I did order a piece of Cheesecake with dinner – Yummy
So, I’m good for another 10 years. Until I hit 40 then it will be back to depression.
I guess I survived another year and that’s all that counts. Thank you all for your well wishes. You’re a great bunch of people. :D/
Grow old gracefully – Hell NO :twisted:28 May, 2006 at 3:28 am #220867Hey Galaxy – Do you know who’s opening up for GnR? I heard tonight that is could be Alice in Chains. If that’s the case I highly recommend you seeing the concert. It’s not the original band. The original singer overdosed a few years back. But, Jerry Cantrell is pretty awesome and wrote most of the music and he’s on guitar. They are (or used to be with Layne Staley) one of my favorte bands. I’d love to know what you think of their performance.

Thank you hunni. You’ve just made my night! What a sweetheart you are to remember. I’ve been so depressed about turning 30 but you’ve really made me smile. Thanks so much darlin.

26 May, 2006 at 3:57 pm #220498My goodness PB – You really told me
I don’t recall saying they should change their entire corporation. You seem to but words in peoples mouths that are not really there. I basically suggested a healthy option for kids. Even one would do fine. They may even get more money if they do. Did you take a few extra anger pills today?26 May, 2006 at 3:11 pm #220496@forumhostpb wrote:

any child who comes home crying because he or she have been called fatty by the other kids has only their parents to blame
Token – You seem to think thats the only answer. Every situation is different. I do think that the majority does have to do with parenting styles -But that’s not always the case. Along with the parents, I think the fast food industry and marketing companies also should take some of the blame. Name something cheap and healthy at McDonalds for children. I know that I can get a salad and fruit parfait, but my son can either have fried chicken fingers or hamburgers and French fries. And I only buy fast food when I’m in a rush. They also make Happy Meals more tempting with a little cheap toy the kids want. They have healthy choices for adults but not for kids. And if you want to eat healthy – there is nothing on the value menu that makes it easy. I’ll end up cutting out the fries and giving my son half my salad. Then I’m still hungry – grrrrrrrrr :evil:We don’t need to try and name something cheap and healthy at Mc Donalds – because none of it is.
The answer AW is NOT to go to McD’s, and if you do – you can’t blame them for the processed rubbish you buy there. Keep away and cook something nutricious at home (or go to a proper restuarant).
Anyway I don’t see what your problem is. All American women are grossly obese and stuff their faces with burgers and chips, when they aren’t gobbling ice cream that is.
Well that was an intelligent response PB – For some reason I expected more from you. BTW- I buy fast food every couple of weeks. Other than that, yes I do cook healthy meals. When you say just don’t go – Sometimes I have a pretty hectic life, and if I’m willing to go to their establishement maybe they could provide more options. Now excuse me while I go eat some ice cream and grease the doorway to fit my obese butt thru it.
