Less Is More – Joss Stone
It doesn’t piss me off – But it does scare me hearing about Tornando watches in my area. I love thunderstorms – But tornado’s scare the hell out of me. They were awesome before I had my son – now I’m scared to death that a tornado will come sweep him out of my arms.
Well I was out running some errands today and saw a hottie on a motorcycle. He looked like he just walked out of the pages of a magazine. Jaw dropping he was. I think he noticed me looking because he smiled and nodded. Yes I blushed like a school girl :oops: . I’m sure he was thinking something to the effect of: “What is this lady doing staring at me with her child in the car” . Oh well – I honestly don’t care – He was hot!
It’s really not always the parents fault. Between one of my sisters and I, growing up she was the over-weight one and I was the thin one (we’re a year apart in age). We never ate fast food growing up. In a single parent home we didn’t have the money for it. She and I were always out doors or doing something active. She basically just had a slower metabolism than I did. I still can eat like a horse and not worry too much about the weight, where she basically has to watch everything she eats. Children at age 4 should under no circumstances be subjected to body image issues so young. It’s beyond their control at that age. Don’t you hate when you finally decide to make a change to your appearance, circumstances beyond your control wont allow you to do it?I think it’s very important for children to learn to eat healthy and exercise. But I don’t think children should be held to standards or given fat tests. I don’t think any child should be made to feel inferior because of what they look like on the outside.
